About buecherglanz

buecherglanz is a German online shop for special bookish accessories and e-reader accessories. From e-reader grips and inserts to reading sets and bookmarks, charm plugs, glass tumblers and selected accessories, we're creating a world for everyone for whom reading is more than just the story between two covers.

Our e-reader accessories work with many Kindle, Kobo and Tolino models. Our own buecherglanz designs and carefully selected motifs bring together what we love most: a reading setup that feels just as personal as the books in it.

Our story

buecherglanz grew out of a feeling many of you know: you look for the perfect reading accessories and find plenty – but very little that feels truly special.

We're part of the bookish community ourselves. We know the stacks of books beside the bed, the far-too-long reading nights and that one chapter that suddenly turns into five. And we know: the reading experience doesn't end with the book.

It's the glass beside it. The bookmark between the pages. The grip on your e-reader that feels just right. The little details that turn a reading moment into an experience.

So at some point we stopped searching and started selecting and designing ourselves.

What buecherglanz means

Our grips and bookmarks are made with our own buecherglanz designs – inspired by the stories, aesthetics and little details that shape the bookish world. Selected motifs and transfer designs are also created exclusively for us.

Dark romance, romantasy, romance, mystical or cozy reading – every book world has its own mood. And that's exactly what should carry over beyond the pages.

That's why we ask ourselves the same question about every product:

Would we buy it ourselves? Would we love seeing it in our own reading setup?

If the answer isn't a clear yes, it isn't right for buecherglanz.

For your reading era

Sometimes it doesn't take much to give a reading setup a whole new look.

An insert under your clear e-reader case. A grip that picks up the motif. A bookmark that's almost too pretty to hide between the pages. Or a glass tumbler for your iced coffee while "just one more chapter" turns into quite a few more.

That's why we don't think of many of our products on their own. Designs, colors and motifs are meant to work together – so you can restyle your reading setup again and again. To match your style, your current book or simply the reading era you're in right now.

For every reading moment

Whether it's a long reading session, a quick coffee in between or an evening when the book once again matters more than the time: our products are made to be part of exactly these moments.

With details that don't need to be loud to stand out. With designs that carry a mood. And with things you don't just use, but love having around.

Personally here for you

We answer questions and feedback personally. We love book recommendations just as much as photos of your reading setups, your unboxings or the moment one of our designs finds its place with you.

It matters to us that every order feels just right – from first discovering our shop to unpacking at home.
