For everyone who doesn't just follow a story while reading, but slips into another world between ink, old pages and candlelight.

The Inksworn Metal Bookmark features a fine quill engraving and combines dark bookish aesthetics with a timeless, elegant look – just right for stories that linger long after.

Made of metal – sturdy, durable and made for many chapters.

How to use

Some bookmarks get lost. Not this one – it's too beautiful for that.

Insert. Close the book. Done.
To remove, pull gently – never jerk.

As a flat lay prop, on the shelf, leaning against the spine of a book – some things are too unique to hide.

Care

This bookmark may last longer than you think – if you take care of it.

Clean with a soft, dry cloth – no water, no chemicals. Enamel is sensitive to scratches. Store separately from other metal objects.

Do not bend – copper alloy can break. Pull out, insert, put down – always with care.

Frequently asked questions

Metal or magnetic – what's the difference?

Magnetic bookmarks in vegan leather slip over the page and hold with a magnetic closure (closed 3.1 × 4.0 cm, 14 g). Metal bookmarks with enamel and a tassel go between the pages (6.2 × 15.0 cm, 60 g).

Which books are the bookmarks suitable for?

Paperbacks, hardcovers and bound editions. They aren't intended for e-readers.

What should I keep in mind with magnetic bookmarks?

They contain neodymium magnets: please keep them at least 15 cm away from pacemakers and cards with magnetic stripes. Not suitable for children under 14.

What we stand for

  • Born from a love of reading

We read, swoon and collect ourselves – buecherglanz grew out of exactly that love.

  • Thoughtfully designed

We design almost every motif ourselves, complemented by a few carefully chosen pieces – a look not everyone has on their shelf.

  • Made to be unboxed

We wrap every parcel so that opening it feels like a gift – for you or someone who matters to you.

A small team from Germany – we only offer what we'd use ourselves.

Our story

Curated as a set

Our Reading Sets bring together pieces from the same design world – better value as a set than on their own.
